AudioDev is proud to announce that the company’s new test tools for the wireless power standard Qi, the CATS Q100 BST and the CATS Q100 MDT, are now approved by the WPC (Wireless Power Consortium). The official approval of the test tools from AudioDev took place during the recent WPC meeting in San José, USA.
The test tools from AudioDev are designed to test both the Base Station (i.e. wireless charging device) using the CATS Q100 BST and the Mobile Device (i.e. the receiver, such as a mobile phone) using the CATS Q100 MDT. The approval means that the tools are now officially certified for compliance testing and that the tools can be used in the development- and quality assurance process by companies releasing Qi-products while still maintaining full correlation to the reference laboratories.
AudioDev expect the first CATS Qi Test tools to be shipped to end-customers during the end of October.
